UAE Covid data accurate; don’t fall for rumours, residents told

Dubai - Refrain from questioning the efforts of all those who have worked to contain this pandemic, NCEMA urges.

Authorities in the UAE have stressed that the official Covid-19 data they release is accurate.

This came as they noted that “official statements announced by authorities have been questioned”.

“We emphasise that there is an integrated system to record all data related to the pandemic in accordance with the highest international standards,” the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) said on Tuesday.

The authority urged the public to always take data from official sources and “to refrain from questioning the efforts of all those who have worked to contain this pandemic”.
