Dubai - The health authorities in the country aim to vaccinate over 50 per cent of its residents in the first quarter of this year
Health authorities in the UAE have administered over a million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) tweeted that 78,793 doses of the vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours (12.20am, January 10).
This takes the total number of vaccine doses to 1.02 million, with a distribution rate of 10.32 doses per 100 people.

Two types of vaccines are administered in the UAE - Chinese Sinopharm and Pfizer-BioNTech.
