Video: Dubai starts administering AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine

Dubai - The India-made vaccine is available to select groups of residents.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has started administering the India-made AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines.

The jab has been added to the DHA's authorised list of Covid-19 vaccines offered at its medical facilities.

The authority tweeted a video on Monday, detailing the steps to get the jab in Dubai.

The vaccine is available at the One Central Vaccination Centre. All Emiratis aged between 18 and 60 years can get the jab. People of determination and those with chronic diseases between the ages of 18 and 60 can also get the jab, provided they have a valid Dubai visa.

Dubai facilities already offer Sinopharm and Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines, making AstraZeneca the third Covid-19 vaccine available in the emirate.
