Yet another crowded private yacht party has been busted in Dubai. The Dubai Police and Dubai Tourism busted the party, and fined the organiser Dh50,000.
Each guest has been fined Dh15,000.
The party violated social distancing and Covid-19 precautionary measures, authorities said.
DON'T MISS:
The yacht operator's license has been suspended for a month.
This is the fourth crowded party that Dubai authorities have busted in as many days: A yacht party was raided on February 7; a desert camp on February 8; and a private home party on February 9.
According to recent Covid safety rules issued by Dubai authorities, only first-degree relatives can attend weddings, social events and private parties. The maximum number of guests allowed has been capped at 10. The directive is applicable for events at homes and hotels.
