Abdullah Shines in DPS-YTCA Win

DPS-YTCA faced with the task of scoring almost under 5.5 runs per over, reached home scoring 140 for just one wicket, thanks to Abdullah’s big-hitting. Abdullah’s 35-ball knock was studded with seven sixers and an equal number of fours as well. Shiv Mehra earlier set the stage with a fine innings of 30 run off 20 balls. Shiv hit five boundaries before he was run out. Abdullah was rightly named the man of the match later.

In the Corporate division match played at the Zabeel Park ground, Sanyo Gulf FZE cruised past YTCA Insurance Invitation XI by nine wickets.

YTCA Insurance managed to score only 70 runs before being all out in 17.3 overs. Sanyo Gulf ’s Mahesh impressed with a fine spell off three wickets for 16 runs while Ajith took two wickets.

In reply, opener Regi plundered 47 runs off 31 balls to help Sanyo Gulf reach 81 in just 8.5 overs for one wicket.
