Brooke Bond Unilever enter quarter-finals

ABU DHABI - Waseem Rashid took six wickets to lead Brooke Bond Unilever to the quarter-finals of the United Bank Limited Twenty20 tournament.

The all-rounder returned with excellent figures of 3.5-0-21-6 to bowl out Classic to 145 with a delivery to spare and Brooke Bond Unilever knocked off the winning runs in 17.3 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Saqib Ali and Shadeep Silva, the two UAE internationals, chipped in with useful contributions in the UAE Exchange Centre’s victory over Yogi Group. Ali anchored the inning with a solid 71 not out with eight fours after Silva had taken three for 25 to restrict Yogi to 140 for nine.
