Comfortable win for Yogi Group
SHARJAH — Yogi Group defeated Sharjah Academy by 10 wickets in the second Al Dhaid Ramadan T-20 tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, for the Conmix Cup at Al Dhaid Cricket Village, a press release said.
Yogi Group first restricted Sharjah Academy to 84 for six and then raced to the modest victory target in just six overs to seal a comprehensive victory.
Abdullah Pasha was the only Sharjah Academy batsman who could offer any resistance to the experienced Yogi Group attack. He scored 35 off 49 balls.
Yasir (15) and Hassan (12) were the other main scorers. Ambey took two wickets for just nine runs.
Yogi Group, in reply, built their innings around openers Bilal Murtaza (44 off 24 balls) and Prabodhan (32 of 13 balls) who remained not out.
