Deccan Chargers win by 31 runs

Deccan Chargers came up with a brilliant performance to win their second match against Chennai Super Kings by 31 runs in the IPL match here at the M A Chidambaram stadium on Sunday.

Chasing a target of 191, Chennai Super Kings were never in the reckoning as they lost wickets at regular intervals.

The hosts made 159 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Earlier, Andrew Symonds (50) and Hershelle Gibbs (45) weaved together a crucial 95-run partnership to lift Deccan Chargers to a competitive 190 for four.
