DPS Beat Veterans in YTCA Felicitation Match
DUBAI - DPS-YTCA posted a comfortable 47-run win over DPS-YTCA Veterans in a Twenty20 match hosted to felicitate Venu Rajamony, who completed his three-year term as Indian Consul General.
Rajamony also took part in the match which was played at the DPS ground in Jebel Ali, recently. Also in attendance was Rashmi Nandkeolyar, principal of DPS, Jebel Ali, among other officials.
The match between cricketers from Young Talents Cricket Academy against a team of parents was played in the highest spirit. Batting first, DPS-YTCA colts put up a healthy total of 177 runs in 20 overs. Vignesh Venkat was the highest scorer with 39 runs while Reuben Abraham was close behind with 35 runs.
