Gymkhana overcome Eurocon Alubond

Having restricted Eurocon to 102 for nine, they knocked off the winning runs with 11 deliveries to spare with everyone in the team chipping in with a contribution. Mehroz Khan was the top scorer with 18 while Tahir Butt returned with three for 18 from his four overs.

Despite the defeat, Eurocon too advanced to the quarterfinals from group A along with Yogi Group, New Medical Centre, and Nissan Al Masaood, all topping their respective groups.

Khurram Khan hit an unbeaten half century and took three wickets to help Daman Insurance pick up their first points in group C.

Khurram hit seven fours in his 46-ball knock of 56 not out, and shared an unbroken 83-run stand for the fifth wicket with Umar Khan (23 not out) for Daman to post 141 for four. Hadiya in reply were bowled out for 108 with Nadeem Siddiqui and Khurram causing the main damage by claiming three wickets each.
