Haris cracked 113 off 105 balls with 11 fours to help his side post a challenging total of 224 all out in the 39th over. Encouraged by his efforts with the bat, the Gyan Steel bowlers rose to the occasion and comfortably defended the total.

Gyan Steel, batting first, lost wickets at regular intervals, but Haris held the innings together with a scintillating stroke-play all-round the wicket. He was well assisted by Ansar Butt who chipped in with a useful 27. Ali Asad and Kashif Ahmed were the most successful bowlers, taking two wickets each.

Emirates Islamic Bank, in reply, may have sensed a chance, but the Gyan Steel bowlers were spot on and never allowed their opponents to break loose. Arif Kaleem provided some momentum to the Emirates Islamic Bank innings, scoring 43 off 54 balls with six fours, but his efforts were not good enough to threaten the Gyan Steel attack. Khurram (31 off 35 balls with one six) and Asim Kaleem (24 off 58 balls) were also among the runs, but they failed to convert their good starts into big innings. Faisal bowled well for Gyan Steel, taking four wickets for 46 runs while Zaheer and Azhar picked up three each as Emirates Islamic Bank were shot out for 176 in the 39th over.
