The one-of-its-kind cricket or quicket championship is being hosted by Red Bull and sponsored by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority as part of government and private sector initiatives to promote Sharjah.

The final showdown will see 16 teams fight for the title and each team will have two players.
