Bangalore win toss, opt to bowl against Mumbai
Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl against Mumbai Indians in the match which was delayed by 45 minutes due to a low intensity blast at a gate of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The blast, which left four policemen and a private security guard injured, rocked the stadium at 3.15 pm, just 45 minutes before the start of the match.
Both the teams were taken to the safety of the dressing room. However, after a thorough security check, the police gave the go ahead for the match to start.
While Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the semifinals, Bangalore need to win this game to ensure a berth in the last-four stage.
