Mohammed Kashif and Saqib Ali grabbed seven wickets between them to skittle out the bankers to a paltry 94 and the NMC openers Indika Sampath and Ihsan Ali knocked off the winning runs with more than 35 overs to spare. Kashif took four for 18 from six overs and Saqib, with his wily off spinners, three for 29 from seven overs, ran through the bankers batting after the NMC captain Sandeep Shetty elected to field. Sampath and Ihsan made batting look easy. Sampath hit a run-a-ball 42 with three fours and a six, and his opening partner, a 46-ball knock 32 not out.
