Mohammed Kashif and Saqib Ali grabbed seven wickets between them to skittle out the bankers to a paltry 94 and the NMC openers Indika Sampath and Ihsan Ali knocked off the winning runs with more than 35 overs to spare. Kashif took four for 18 from six overs and Saqib, with his wily off spinners, three for 29 from seven overs, ran through the bankers batting after the NMC captain Sandeep Shetty elected to field. They now meet the winner of second semifinal between Arab Udupi and Yogi Group.

Kashif and Manjula Guruge, who picked up a wicket from his six overs for 11 runs, had the bankers struggling at 24 for five, from which they never recovered. Adnan Arif (21) and Aamir Khan (26), the No. 7 and 8 batsmen, were the only ones to get into double figures.

Sampath and Ihsan made batting look easy. Sampath hit a run-a-ball 42 with three fours and a six, and his opening partner, a 46-ball knock 32 not out.

Brief scores: New Medical Centre bt Emirates Islamic Bank by 10 wickets. Emirates Islamic Bank 94 all out in 29.5 overs (Adnan Arif 21, Aamir Khan 28, Mohammed Kashif 4-18, Saqib Ali 3-29). NMC 95 for no loss in 14.5 overs (Indika Sampath 42 not out, Ihsan Ali 32 not out).
