The four were given various bans by the Pakistan Cricket Board earlier this month following an inquiry into the team’s poor performances on their tour of Australia.

Shahid Afridi and Kamran Akmal, who were fined three million rupees each and put on six months probation by the PCB, have been awarded category A contracts.

The board also excluded fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar from the list of contracted players following a spate of fitness problems. His last appearance for Pakistan was in May 2009 against Australia in Dubai.
