Pagrani’s played a captain’s role as Yogi Group recorded their third convincing victory thrashing Wings XI by 157 runs on Sunday night.
The 20-over tournament, organised by Dulsco SC in association with the Dubai Municipality, is being played under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council.
Pagrani ran through the Wings batsmen like sending four of their top order with only 65 runs on board after Yogi had set them a target of 230 for victory.
Nadeem (11), Sajid (13), Anmol (0) and Fazil (24) were Shiva’s early victims with the captain picking up two more wickets of Siddarth (5) and Fayaz (0) later to seal victory for his team. He was named man of the match for his rich haul. He conceded only 18 runs during his four-over spell. Ambey Parvatkar bagged three wickets for six runs in his 1.4 overs as Wings XI were all out for 73 runs in 12.4 overs.
Earlier electing to bat first after winning the toss, Yogi Group scored 229 for the loss of eight wickets.
