Pakistan set Bangladesh 173 runs target

Defending champions Pakistan scored 172 for three against Bangladesh in a Group A match of the World Twenty20 here Sunday.

Winning the toss and batting, Pakistan were given a solid start by their openers Kamran Akmal (73) and Salman Butt (73), who both rustled up a 142-run stand.

For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan took two for 27 from his four overs.
