South Africa posted a challenging 274-6.

South African captain Graeme Smith, back in the side, has opted to bat first after winning the toss.

Pakistan have made one change in their side: left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman coming in for Saeed Ajmal. The visitors have rung in three changes: Smith is back at the expense of Albie Morkel and Dale Steyn at Rusty Theron’s while Wayne Parnell replaces Lonwabo Tsotsobe.

South Africa lead the series 2-1 and will be looking to make Monday’s match at the same venue academic interest but it has been a closer contest than most expected and Pakistan will back themselves to level the series once again.
