Following a road rage incident in which an unidentified person opened fire at cricket legend Wasim Akram, Pakistani police detained a prime suspect.
According to Dawn.com, the suspect has now submitted a written apology to the cricketer.
Major Amirul Rehman, in his letter, has apologised for the "sad incident" which arose out of road rage and added that he and his family were a great fan of Wasim Akram.

The shooting incident took place on August 6 after a minor accident when the shooter's car hit Akram's Mercedes in Karachi
When the former left-arm pacer asked the driver to pull over, a heated discussion took place and after stepping out of his vehicle, the man sitting at the back of the car opened fire.
