Punjab Win A Thriller in Super Over

Kings XI Punjab registered their first win in IPL III but not before the match entered the Super Over against Chennai Super Kings here on Sunday.

After the match was tied at 136, Chennai made nine runs in the Super Over. In reply, a brilliant six from Mahela Jayawardene followed by a smart boundary by Yuvraj Singh sealed the match for the visitors.

Earlier, Yuvraj top scored for Punjab with a 43, while Parthiv Patel made a 57 for Chennai. Agencies
