Radhika bowls English Speaking School to victory

The event, organised under the aegis of Sharjah cricket Council, is being supported by Pepsi.

Happy Home found it difficult to get going as they had to face someaccurate and menacing bowling of EESS meduim pacers, Radika and Nirosha who were simply brilliant with the ball and shared the spoil taking three wickets each.

Theygot the taste of real competitive matchas theyshowed their inexperience.

Chasinga score of 59, they were bundled out for 35 runs in 11.2 overs.

Meanwhile, the other match of the day was played between Gulf Indian High Schooland Cambridge International School Dubai.

Gulf Indian High School defeated Cambridge International School Dubai to book the first semifinal berth of the girls under-17 event in Maxtalent Acer Cup.

Aided by captain Jane Abraham’s hurricane knock of 41 runs off just 18 balls, GIHS defeated Cambridge by 25 runs.

Batting first,GIHS lost two wickets with just three runs on board.

But their innings was soon revived by Pritam and Mahima.

Jane played an aggressive innings and hit 2 sixes and three fours during the innings of 41.
