Shafiq hits brilliant unbeaten century

ABU DHABI — Mohammed Shafiq’s unbeaten century and a five-wicket haul from Suminda Priyankara were the highlights of the UAE Exchange Centre division-two pre-quarterfinals at the ADCC grounds in the weekend.

Shafiq stroked 114 not out to lead William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana to a convincing 130-run win over NPCC and Priyankara, with five for 16, bowled Colombo Lions to a six-wicket victory over Al Ain Sportsplex.
