Shaun Marsh scored a superb half century to help the Kings XI Punjab reach 192-3 to leave the Chennai Super Kings with a tough run chase to reach the IPL semi finals.

Dhoni wins toss, asks Kings XI Punjab to bat

Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and asked Kings XI Punjab to bat first in an Indian Premier League match here on Sunday.

Chennai effected two changes in the side, bringing in Justin Kemp and Sudeep Tyagi for Michael Hussey and L Balaji.

Punjab made three changes, leaving Reetinder Sodhi, Shalabh Srivastava and Vikramjeet for Sunny Sohal, Ramesh Powar and VRV Singh.
