Patil anchored Yogi Group’s run chase against William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana with a well compiled 104 not out, and two valuable partnerships, 132 for the second wicket with the opener Salman Faris (73) and 103 for the fourth wicket without being separated with Shaimon Butt (39 not out).

Patil’s 134-ball knock contained 10 hits to the fence, and the seven-wicket win took Yogi to the semifinals behind New Medical Centre in Group A. Nasir Aziz was the pick of Yogi’s bowling claiming four for 34 from 9.1 overs.

Emirates Islamic Bank kept their hopes alive for a place in the last four with an emphatic eight-wicket thrashing of Al Fara’a in Group B.

The opener Asim Kaleem led the charge with a breezy 95, hitting 19 fours and a six, facing just 51 deliveries. He dominated an opening-wicket stand of 119 with Naeem Khan, who remained undefeated on 28.

Abu Dhabi Gymkhana coming out for the second time in the week sent Emirates cricket Board Blues packing out after a nine-run win.

Emirates Islamic Bank bt Al Fara’a by 8 wickets. Al Fara’a 174 all out in 30.1 overs (Naeem Khan 3-23). Emirates Islamic Bank 175 for 2 in 22.2 overs (Asim Kaleem 95).

William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana bt Emirates Cricket Board Blues by 9 runs. Abu Dhabi Gymkhana 190 all out in 44.4 overs (Sajjad Ahmed 66, Salman Farooq 3-34, Nigel Fernandes 3-35). ECB Blues 181 all out in 47.3 overs (Abdul Rahman 46).
