There were a couple of good partnerships in the Emirates Realty innings starting with a 86-run opening stand between KP Shahnavas (38) and Abdul Kader (51), who featured in another 99-run partnership with Mohammed Shareef (63) for the second wicket.

Saqib Ali, the UAE international, stroked a top score of 89 to lead New Medical Centre to a 38-run win over William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana. Ali hit eight fours but was run out 11-run short of a well deserved century.

But his knock in the middle order helped his team post 259 for nine and then the spinner Sanjeeva Dias returned with an excellent spell of 10-2-42-4 to bowl out Abu Dhabi Gymkhana to 221.

Moiz Shahid and Riaz Khalik took three wickets apiece in Emirates Cricket Board Blues’ 16-run win over Yogi Group.
