Drydocks World Dubai played Tiger Steel while Globelink West Star took on Seven Seas Blues in the semis.
The semifinals took a very interesting turn as the records tumbled. Tiger Steels crushed DryDocks Dubai World by six wickets to enter the final.
The second finalist of the tournament was Globelink West Star who secured their berth by beating Seven Seas by 139 runs.
Pavana Jagdeesh of Tiger Steel was one of the stars of the tournament.
He had scored two centuries and one 50 in three matches.
Jagdeesh had a strike rate of 200 and a fine average of 107.33. He hit 24 sixes in four matches. Sharan Pinto of Globelink West Star was another leading player who took nine wickets in four matches.
The final will be played on April 3, 2010.
Two Ranji trophy players Krishna Chandran and Vineeth are also playing in the finals of the tournament. BizTV Mariner’s Cup is sponsored by Cadilac and supported by Velosi.
