YTCA Seniors score comfortable victory
DUBAI — YTCA Seniors won their second match of the tour with an emphatic fashion over Barnard Castle Cricket Club by five wickets at the Barnard Castle Cricket Ground.
Batting first, Barnard Castle scored 192 in their 40 overs with Stannix scoring 52 and Dixon chipping in with 37. Fahad Al Hashmi, Shahid, Rameez Shahzad all took two wickets each.
In reply, YTCA knocked off the winning runs easily with Adnan top scoring 49 and Wasim Bari played a patient innings of 39. Rameez Shazad scored a swashbuckling 31 with two towering sixes to finish the match in style.
Coach Prosanta Chanda was very happy with the excellent team peformance and congratulated the seniors.
