Ajman Criminal Court on Wednesday sentenced a 53-year-old Pakistani national four months in jail followed by deportation for illegal entry to the country.
According to police records, the accused arrived at Ajman border via Oman on June1 to enter the country by presenting Emirates National Id of another person.
The border guards who checked the ID grew suspicious of his claims and they grilled him.
During the interrogation he confessed to the guards that he had stolen national Id of someone else and was trying to infiltrate to the UAE, without holding visa and passport, looking for a job.
The border guards handed him over to the public prosecution.
