An Asian young man stood trial at the Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Criminal Court for breaking into a house and stealing clothes of a family late at night.
As per court records, the case dates back to early this November when an Asian man lodged a complaint with the RAK Police accusing the suspect of stealing his family's clothes. The complainant told the police that the burglar was seen roaming in the area. The Criminal Investigations Department, alerted of the theft, initiated investigations and made the arrest.
The police found all the stolen clothes at the suspect's accommodation. He admitted to the crime following which he was referred to the RAK Public Prosecution.
The culprit was then moved to the RAK Criminal Court, where he admitted to his theft. The court jury adjourned the case to December 29 for giving verdict.
