Maid in dock for killing love child

Dubai - She denies the charge, admits to wrapping the body in a piece of cloth and dumping it in a garbage bin.

A maid, who allegedly killed her newborn baby after wrapping him in a piece of cloth and hitting him, has been charged with premeditated murder. The mother dumped the body in a garbage bin.
In the Dubai Court of First Instance on Sunday, the 31-year-old Indonesian maid was also accused of having illicit consensual sex.
The maid denied having killed the newborn baby, but admitted to wrapping the body in a piece of cloth and dumping it in a garbage bin. The case dates back to February 27. The body was discovered by an Indian truck driver and two other workers as they were emptying the garbage bins in Al Barsha 3.
According to the public prosecution, the maid gave birth to the baby in the bathroom of her employer's house. The baby was born alive.
The family for which the maid worked was unaware of the pregnancy.
The defendant reportedly admitted in the investigation that she hit the baby until he stopped moving and then disposed of the body.
