Man gets pardon letter from murdered wife's kin

The same bench finished hearing another case in which a man is accused of stabbing his wife to death, and ordered adjournment of the case to June 19 to give its verdict.

The court records show that the incident allegedly happened in 2010. The 30-year-old defendant allegedly killed his six-month pregnant wife using a kitchen knife over family disputes.

The man willingly surrendered to the police who interrogated him, referred him to the prosecution, and then to the court which received a written declaration from the relatives of the deceased pardoning the defendant.
