The Sharjah Police have arrested a reckless driver of a pick-up vehicle which was being driven without a number plate. The driver was speeding "in a dangerous manner", posing risk to users of December 2 Road in Sharjah.
Col. Shawaf Abdul Rahman, Director of Traffic and Patrols of the Sharjah Police, said a motorist called the police, notifying them about the vehicle being driven recklessly. The complainant said the vehicle posed a safety hazard to road users and even pedestrians.
The police dispatched nearest patrol, which reached there in two minutes and identified the car and driver. The car was confiscated and the driver was held.
