The Sharjah Police are investigating two fall accidents that occurred in the emirate over the weekend, resulting in the death of one worker while injuring another.
In the first accident, a Chinese man, identified as Z.A.A., 45, fell to his death from a high-rise building. Police were notified about the fall by the residents of the building. The body was shifted to the police forensic laboratory for investigations.
In the second accident, a Bangladeshi man, identified as A.B.A., 49, fell from a high- rise building in Sharjah Industrial Area 10 and sustained serious injuries. Police rushed the man to Al Qassimi Hospital for treatment. Police are suspecting the second accident to be a suicide bid.
