Sharjah Police have issued a fresh warning against fake financial companies.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, the chief of Sharjah Police, warned youths who are looking to invest to ensure that the companies are real.
Verify that these companies have an official market presence in the UAE to secure your rights, he added.
Although no investors have complained of such companies as of yet, Sharjah Police are following the developments closely and are expecting people to file complaints soon.
A number of citizens and residents have been defrauded by such fake companies.
The company known as financial.org has no presence in the UAE, he added. The police will do their best to help victims reclaim their money.
This scam targets young investors, specifically.
