Dubai: The four stages of ‘Educate a Child, Build a Nation’ initiative for this year were completed with more than 1,000 children joining from around the UAE.
The initiative was organised by Information City for the third year in a row.
The educational and training programme proved a great success among children aged between eight and 13 years, and their families. The training programme took place at the Etisalat Academy, Zabeel Institute, Atlantis Hotel, and other institutions across the country in collaboration with MTN. Information City confirmed that the current initiative will continue in the coming years.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Information City and builder of the initiative, said: “This initiative, which put the cornerstone of vitality of early childhood learning, was admired by senior personnel in the government, supervisors from the Ministry of Education, representatives of charity organisations, and sponsors.”
