His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, has ordered the reduction of tuition fees of the university in the cities of Khorfakkan and Kalba in the eastern region by 25 per cent from the new academic year beginning in September.

Dr Humaid bin Majoul Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at the university, expressed his thanks and appreciation for this “kind grant”, adding that these grants boost the work of the University of Sharjah, its progress and development.

He said the fee reduction applied to the citizens of the Eastern Province and its neighbouring areas and all residents who wish to enrol in the University of Sharjah through its branches in those two cities.
