27 women complete training at Police School in Sharjah

The course was attended by 27 female staff members from different headquarters and departments of the Ministry of Interior.

The Federal Police School on Thursday celebrated the graduation of the 5th batch of female recruits who completed the Basic Training Course at the school’s headquarters in Al Sharjah.

The four-month long course was organised by the Federal Police School and attended by 27 female staff members from different headquarters and departments of the Ministry of Interior.

Brigadier Mohammed Al Nubi Mohammed, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, who attended the graduation ceremony, said the course reflected the Ministry of Interior’s strategic development plan. “The Ministry of Interior is committed to training its staff members as per the best international and advanced standards... to achieve the coveted goals.”

Brigadier Al Nubi stressed the important role played by female staff members in all areas of work, as an efficient pillar in the development and progress. “Female staff members have proven to be highly efficient in the performance of the duties entrusted to them in the different departments and jobs at the ministry,” he added.

At the end of the ceremony, Brigadier Mohammed Al Nubi, accompanied by Brigadier Ahmed Abdullah Al Hajri, Director of the Federal Police School, distributed certificates and prizes to the graduates.
