Financial support to schools in need of modern technology has recently been met. The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has offered financial aid to Emirates National Schools (ENS) to set up a mobile computer lab fitted with latest technologies and equipment.
Since its inception in 1971, ADFD has overseen the provision and management of Dh68 billion towards financing 456 development projects in 78 countries around the world.
The recent support will help ENS set up a modern mobile computer lab fitted with a complete stack of educational software embedded with ENS's Arabic curriculum that will be supported by a dedicated training programme for the school's teachers.
Ahmed Mohamed Al Humairi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of ENS, believes it's vital to support schools.
"ADFD has always been a pioneer in supporting national organisations and a reliable partner in their success.
"In providing ENS with a full-fledged lab fitted out with cutting edge technologies, the grant will support the educational progress at the school."
