ADEC’s Director General visits three schools in Al Ain

Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili, Director General at the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) visited three new schools in Al Ain to congratulate the school staff on their first days to school.

He went to Al Shaheen Cycle One School, Al Tomouh Kindergarten, Cycle 1 School and the Ahmed Bin Zayed Cycle One School and applauded the excellent preparations. He also wished the school management, teachers, parents, students and ADEC employees a fruitful year ahead.

During the tour Dr. Mugheer was accompanied by Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, ADEC’s Executive Director of School Operations; Engineer Hamad Al Dhaheri, Executive Director at ADEC’s Private Schools and Quality Assurance Sector and Salem Al Katheeri, Director of the Al Ain Regional.

Dr. Mugheer lauded the great support to education provided by President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the careful follow up by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Education Council.

“Our leaders’ prudent vision for providing learners with world-class education in accordance with the best international practices and standards is an inspiration to all educators,” said ADEC’s Director General, adding that “ADEC has finalized all preparations for rolling out the New School Model (NSM) in Grade 6 (Cycle 2) in public schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. The teaching and administrative staff, textbooks, activity plans, etc. are ready for the upcoming school year,” said Dr. Al Khaili.

Mr. Al Dhaheri said that ADEC is keen to provide students with a safe and encouraging learning environment. “All schools are ready to receive students at the beginning of new school year. The teaching and administrative staff members have already reported to work in order to resume the implementation of ADEC strategy for educational transformation.”

ADEC gives priority to meeting all school needs. Professional development programs are provided as scheduled in order to realize the set goals, he added.
