It will be a battle of intellectual minds at the 11th edition of Brain Hunt, a nationwide quiz competition aimed at UAE school students. More than 650 teams from 65 schools in the country will participate in the televised show.
The contest, which challenges students to answer questions on a wide variety of topics, is open to high schools in the UAE and each school can nominate their best teams with students from Grade 9 onwards allowed to take part.
Road shows for the quiz have already started in schools and shopping centres.
The top six teams selected for a grand finale will vie for top honours at a quiz evening to be attended by more than 2,000 students.
Kannu Baker, Quiz Master of the show and MD and CEO of Inspiration Advertising, said: “We have been running this mega quiz show in the UAE every year since 2003 and I am very excited to present the 11th edition. Brain Hunt is a journey which explores new horizons of knowledge and aims to improve the knowledge of school children.”
The event is supported by Etisalat and Samsung and participating students receive top prizes every year. “Samsung is thrilled to be the main sponsor of this unique and world-class quiz competition. We are certain that the show will inspire, motivate and nurture young talent all over UAE,” said Niranjan Gidwani, Deputy CEO, Eros Group.
