The Sharjah American International (SAIS) group has announced the commencement of its fourth school.
The new school, Scholars American International School, is all set to open in Abu Dhabi this academic year.
According to SAIS, the staff consists of highly trained educators with considerable experience in education, including a social worker and special education teacher.
The teachers hail from diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds, which SAIS hopes will balance a Western education with local traditions.
"We are extremely pleased on the new launch. In today's culture, it is imperative that values are instilled at the foundation level, in order to prepare future adults for working together to achieve cultural understanding and peace," said Elham Al Abed, the principle of Scholars American International School.
Established in 1997, SAIS has schools in Sharjah Sharjah, Dubai and Umm Al Quwain.
