India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class X exam results on Wednesday declaring a pass percentage of 91.46.
The results are available on its websites, www.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
This year over 1.8 million students had registered for the class X exams.
Results this year are also available on the DigiLocker app, a government of India online initiative that provides access to "authentic digital documents. legally at par with originals".
In a first, CBSE class X students appeared for two different levels of Mathematics exams. The CBSE board had given class X students the option to choose the difficulty level of Mathematics question paper. The math question paper was bi-furcated into- Standard Mathematics and Basic Mathematics.
The question paper had different difficulty levels.
Results for Class XII exams had been announced by the CBSE on Monday and saw an overall pass rate of 88.78 per cent. As many as 1.193 million students had taken the CBSE Class XII exams this year.
The board announced the results on the basis of an alternate assessment scheme after the pending exams were cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic. As per the four pointer scheme that was earlier released, marks for the exams not attended by students have been awarded on the basis of the marks scored in best performing subjects.
In schools outside India, 94.26 per cent of the 16,043 candidates passed, which is lower by around one per cent as compared to last year.

Results on Digilocker, Umang App
In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, schools affiliated with CBSE will not hand over the marksheets, passing certificates and migration certificates to the students. Instead, the documents will be shared with individual students via the online portal.
Through - SMS
To get your CBSE 10th Result 2020 through SMS, simply type CBSE10 < ROLLNUMBER > < ADMITCARDID > and send it to 7738299899. This facility, however would only be available once the results are announced.
