CBSE results likely to be out by May end: Report

TOI reports that Class X results are likely to be declared on either May 19 or May 20, 2015, and Class XII results by May 27 or 28.

The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) examinations for standards 10 and 12 results are likely to be announced by the third and fourth week of May respectively, according to a Times of India report. 

TOI reports that Class X results are likely to be declared on either May 19 or May 20, 2015. The Class XII results are likely to be ready by May 25 and the board will declare it by May 27 or May 28, 2015, an official told TOI.

According to a CBSE circular, a total of 13,73,853 students registered for the class 10 board examination and 10,40,368 students registered for the class 12 board examination.

'There has been a hike of 3.37 percent in the number of students appearing in the class 10 board examination and in the class 12th board examination there has been a hike of 1.01 percent of students appearing for the examination,' the circular said.
