Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced that the closing date for registration for grade twelve students in the Common Educational Proficiency Assessment (Cepa) — English exam is February 18. It stressed that in order to take their first attempt for the exam scheduled for March 7, students need to complete all data and forward all the required documents before the aforementioned date.
The ministry stated that if an applicant applied after February 18 but before April 21, he will be given only one chance to take the examination and that will be on May 9 (second attempt).
The higher grade of the two exams will be counted. Passing the exam will give students the opportunity to join government educational institutions in the state for the academic year 2015-2016.
If a student does not sit for the Cepa-English exam, his or her request for attending higher education government institutions or getting scholarships abroad at the expense of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will not be considered. More information can be found on the ministry’s official website.
