While education in Singapore is comparatively costly, cost of living in Singapore depends on where you stay and socialise. An international student in Singapore spends on an average about S$750 to S$2,000 a month on living expenses depending on individual lifestyle.
Singapore offers merit and need-based fee waivers to international students. You have to contact each university individually to know their fee waiver policy. The Ministry of Education offers tuition fee grants to international students upon bond to serve in a Singapore based company for three years post-graduation.
Upon completing the degree programme, international students can submit an application for a one-year pass to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) if they want to look for employment opportunities in the country.
