IHS Dubai in Britannica club

Encyclopaedia Britannica, global digital media company with products that promote knowledge and learning, has inducted Indian High School, Dubai in the prestigious Britannica President’s Club for South Asia.

The school was also conferred the Excellence Award for using digital content in its learning programmes.

Through the President’s Club, Encyclopaedia Britannica aims to encourage innovation in schools to promote teaching with technology. This platform will encourage teachers to share best practices in teaching methodologies.

Jorge Cauz, president of Britannica, said, “Britannica transformed itself into a digital learning resource solutions provider to schools and colleges. The innovative ways in which Indian High School has been able to integrate Britannica digital learning resources into its syllabus as well as co-curricular learning is exemplary, and shows that schools worldwide are finding our solutions beneficial in improving the quality of education.”

Sarvesh Shrivastava, managing director, Britannica South Asia, said, “Our desire and passion to provide the best possible opportunity to children, brought the Indian High School, Dubai and Britannica together; and our association has grown stronger every passing day.”
