The camp is expected to attract more than 30 grade 10 and 11 students interested in pursuing a career in engineering or in the technology sector.
The summer programme aims to inspire students through challenges and competitions, hands-on activities, and discover the world of engineering.
Over the course of the week, students will explore robotics, mechanics, electronics, chemistry, programming, design, math, arts and physics as well as participate in a competition to design and build their own robot.“ The camp is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in science and technology, especially in the exciting world of engineering,” said Dr Bayan Sharif, Dean of the College of Engineering at Khalifa University.
“The camp has also given the students an opportunity to experience life at Khalifa University and mix with their peers from across the UAE,” he added.
