Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has approved the formation of supreme and executive committees for the ‘Khalifa Programme to Empower Students’.

The move aims to strengthen the comprehensive pillars of national and unified cultural, social and security references to help future generations deal with the challenges and risks affecting them. Major-General Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Khalifa Programme, underscored the keen interest of the committee in translating the vision of Shaikh Saif to develop the programme in a way that keeps pace with the latest developments in these fields.

He stressed that the programme will achieve its goals through creative and innovative methods, and will find ways to work with institutions dealing with students’s affairs to help them handle the challenges and risks they face, both personally and socially.

Major-General Al Nuaimi pointed out the importance of focussing on strengthening the partnership in the search for the best mechanisms to achieve goals that serve the students.
