A new private school offering the CBSE curriculum will open doors this year as part of an offering by a new education provider in the UAE. Located behind Al Khail Mall, the Amled School will initially offer classes from Kindergarten to Grade 5 in the 2015-16 academic year.
In addition to teaching facilities, the school’s large campus features facilities for co-curricular activities, including sports and entertainment.
The school is a joint undertaking between CMI Rajagiri Province and the Amled Facilities Management.
Dr Mathew Vattathara, director of Amled School, said the new school was a launchpad for the group’s ambitious plans for the UAE. “CMI Rajagiri is keen to spread its educational footprint across the world and the UAE emerged as a natural choice due to the high number of Indian expatriates in the country,” he pointed out.
“Our education standards are extremely high and our students have consistently excelled at both academic and co-curricular levels.”
The UAE has a large number of alumni students who have passed out from CMI institutions and Varghese Puthusserry, principal of Amled School, pointed out that there was a significant demand from ex-students living and working in the region for a school that could impart similar high-quality education standards to their children.
“Our curriculum approach focuses on imparting skill-based knowledge using sequential learning techniques. Each child is an individual with his or her own unique abilities, interests, aspirations and expectations. Therefore, our curriculum in these classes is structured to encourage and motivate them to become self-confident, self-reliant and self-disciplined, and thus help them achieve full potential,” Puthusserry added.
The group plans to launch new schools in 2017 in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, in addition to a new location in Dubai. For more information about Amled School Dubai and its facilities, visit www.amledschool.com.
