A new scholarship initiative by Dunia Finance is hoping to provide 20 students with Dh20,000 each as part of their Young Leaders Scholarship Programme.
The scholarship is open to students starting from pre-school to Grade 12, studying in the UAE, as well as university students enrolled in a bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD programme and studying in the UAE or overseas.
The scholarship amount offered is up to Dh20,000 each, covering the actual tuition fee for the academic year 2015-2016.
“Empowering people, enabling success and enriching lives is what we do. By launching this fantastic new scholarship programme, we hope to help more talented young people access education, develop their skills, and to play an active part in growing the UAE and global economies,” said Rajeev Kakar, CEO and managing director of Dunia Finance.
Two years ago, the company launched a pioneering Young Business Leaders Programme for high school leavers and first-year university students. The programme, which is offered on a complimentary basis, combined academic learning with leadership and business skills, and exposed young students to finding the leader within.
Applicants interested in applying to the Dunia Young Leaders Scholarship program can visit www.dunia.ae/scholarship for more details.
